Vegetable Dressed Walleye Recipe

  • 4 Walleye fillets
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Lemon slices
  • Parsley
  • Vegetable Stuffing
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/3 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup crushed crackers
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 1/2 cup thin sliced carrots
  • salt and pepper
Lay fillets on a well buttered. shallow baking dish, sprinkle with lemon juice. Lightly cover stuffing and dot with butter. Cover the dish and bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Uncover and cook another 15 mins or until fillets are flaky. Garnish with lemon and parsley
