• 2 pounds ground chuck
  • 2 packages taco seasoning mix
  • 1 package Tostito tortilla chips
  • 1 onion, chopped (large)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 can chopped green chilies (4 ounce can)
  • 1 can Ranch style beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Niblets whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can tomato sauce or 2 small ones (large can)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar Cheese
Rough crush chips and place in bottom of 11x14 baking pan. Brown ground chuck with onions and garlic. Add 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix and a little water to moisten. Only add enough to moisten. Put meat over chips. Sprinkle beans over meat. Add green chilies to corn and add over meat and beans. In mixing bowl, combine tomato sauce, water, mushroom soup and remaining pkg. of taco mix. Whisk and pour over casserole. Add grated cheese over top. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
