The Ruby Slipper Recipe

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 box raspberry jello (3 ounce pkg)
Combine cake mix, sour cream, water and eggs in large bowl. Blend, then beat for 2 minutes.

Spoon 1/3 of batter into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan or Bundt pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 gelatin right out of the box. Repeat layers. Spread remaining 1/3 of the batter over gelatin to cover.

Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.

Cool in pan for 5 minutes.

Remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
