SOUR CREAM BANANA NUT BREAD Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup ripe bananas, mashed (about 3 bananas)
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat for 1 1/2 minutes. Combine flour, baking soda and salt and add to creamed mixture. Stir in bananas, sour cream and nuts and mix until well blended. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake 1 hour or until done. The sour cream makes this a moist bread.
