1 package Hot or Mild Premio Sausage (6 per package)
1 can (16 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 medium onions
2 large green peppers
1 package linguine
Peel and dice the onions; cut and dice the peppers.
Heat a skillet to medium heat and begin cooking the peppers and onions.
Start boiling the water for the pasta.
Peel the casing off the sausages; pull the sausages apart into small chunks.
Add the sausage to the skillet. Cook until the onions are clear, peppers are tender, and sausage is thoroughly cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
When the water reaches a boil, cook the pasta according to the package directions.
Once the peppers, onion, and sausage mixture is cooked, reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour in the tomato sauce and simmer about 5-7 minutes.
Drain pasta, place on serving plates, and top each serving with about 1 cup of the sausage, peppers, and onion mixture.
