Premio Deep Dish Sausage Pie Recipe

  • 1 pound Premio sausage, sliced
  • 1 pound Premio sweet sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup carrot, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1 pie crust for top 2-quart baking dish. (Rectangular dish)
  • 1/4 cup oil or butter
  • In a large fry pan; cooked sausage in butter or oil until done.
  • Add remaining ingredient except pie crust.
  • Cook for 5 minutes; pour ingredients in a deep baking dish.
  • Top with ready made crust.
  • Cut slits in crust so steam to escape.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F. until crust in golden brown.
