Stromboli Bread Recipe

  • 1 frozen bread dough
  • 1/3 pound ham - sliced
  • 1/3 pound provolone cheese - sliced
  • 1/3 pound hard salami - sliced
  • 1 egg
  • garlic salt
  • oregano

  • Place frozen bread dough on greased jelly roll pan, cover and let rise 6-7 hours.
  • Spread dough out on pan and brush with egg and sprinkle garlic salt and oregano on dough.
  • Layer cheese and meats down the middle in 2 rows, layer meat and cheese twice.
  • Fold sides over the meat into the center and seal.
  • Fold ends over and seal.
  • Flip it over and sprinkle top with garlic and oregano.
  • Bake at 350° F for 12-30 minutes.
  • You can make this ahead and store covered in the refrigerator.
  • If you need to cover and store, spray the wax paper so the dough doesn't stick.
