1 pound yellowfin tuna steak
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
2 cloves garlic , minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sherry
ingredients for toppings, such as tomatoes, lettuce, and onions
Add all the marinade ingredients together in a glass bowl.
Add the tuna to the marinade, making sure it is completely covered.
Marinate the tuna for 15 minutes and then turn it and allow it to marinate for an additional 15 minutes.
Coat a baking sheet that has one inch sides with cooking spray or cooking oil and then place the tuna in the pan.
Place in an oven preheated to 400°F and cook for 10 minutes per inch of thickness. Turn once during the cooking time.
Serve the cooked tuna on a large bun and add any desired toppings, such as mayonnaise, greens, tomato, and onion.
