Nachos Con Salsa Recipe

  • 1 package regular toasted tortilla chips (10 ounce bag)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Salsa
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce can)
  • 1 can diced green chilis (4 ounce can)
  • 1 each chopped onion green pepper (1/2 cup each)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco
Spread chips in shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Broil for 3 minutes or until cheese melts. (Microwave at medium for 1 minute or until cheese melts.)

Combine all salsa ingredients in small bowl. Let stand about 30 minutes. Use as as dip for tortilla chips. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
