2 pounds unsalted mixed nuts (or almonds, walnuts, etc.)
3 tablespoons fresh rosemary, minced
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons coarse salt
1 tablespoon butter
:large jelly roll pan
Preheat oven to 350Âº F.
Spread nuts in pan and place in oven. Watch closely as they may burn easily.
Over low heat, in a small sauce pan, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir until butter melts and ingredients are combined. Remove from heat.
Pour mixture over warm nuts and toss to coat.
This recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in a covered container. Reheat just before serving or serve at room temperature.
