Pumpkin Trifle Recipe
An easy to make pumpkin dessert. This makes a great fall dessert and is perfect for all the pumpkin lovers at you Thanksgiving gathering.

1 package angel food cake mix
1 package instant vanilla pudding (5.1 oz. pkg.)
1 can pumpkin pie mix (30 oz.)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 8 oz. Cool Whip
:Trifle bowl or any large glass bowl
Prepare the angel food cake according to package directions. Cool completely.
Prepare the pudding according to package directions. Allow to set for approximately 5 minutes.
Add the pumpkin pie mix, brown sugar, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and nutmeg to the pudding. Fold in until well mixed.
Begin layering by tearing small pieces of the angel food cake and covering the bottom of the bowl.
Add a layer of the pumpkin pudding mix and then a layer of cool whip.
Repeat the layers one or two more times. The number of layers will depend on the depth of your bowl. If you can only do two layers, work with half of the ingredients for each layer. If your bowl is deep enough for 3 layers, divide the ingredients into thirds when you are layering them.
The top layer should be cool whip. Sprinkle the top with a little cinnamon and sugar for garnish.
Refrigerate for several hours before serving to be sure the trifle is thoroughly chilled.
