Crouton Topped Broccoli Casserole Recipe

A tasty vegetable side dish with a little different twist. The cheese added extra flavor and the croutons on top were a nice touch for added texture.

  • 1 package frozen chopped broccoli (16 ounce pkg)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted (10 3/4 ounce can)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cheese and garlic croutons

  • Place broccoli and water in microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 6-8 minutes or until tender; drain.
  • Stir in soup, cheeses and milk. Cover and microwave for 2 minutes or until cheeses are melted.
  • Sprinkle with croutons and serve.

"This was a tasty broccoli casserole and was ideal for because my oven was full with other food for our meal. Being able to make this in the microwave worked out perfect. I liked the croutons for a little added crunch too."
