Ingredients
CRUST
5 cups flour
2 cups plus 2 teaspoon Crisco
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup warm milk
3/4 cup evap milk
2 Eggs
1 package dry yeast
Filling
3 cups sugar
2 dozen apples
2 teaspoons flour
2 teaspoons Tapioca
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Soak yeast in warm milk, add eggs and evaporated milk. Cut Crisco into flour and salt. Add liquids and mix to a stiff dough; chill well. Cook filling until apples are tender; cool. Roll out dough on board floured with 4 tsp. sugar. Cut into 5-inch rounds. Place 1 tsp. filling in center or dough, fold over and seal. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
