Chiffon Jello Salad Recipe

  • 2 packages 4 serving size) lime jello
  • 3 1/4 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 2 cups cool whip, thawed
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add ice and stir till melted. In separate bowl, blend sour cream and Cool Whip with whisk. Gradually add Jello to this mixture while whisking. Pour into 9 x 13" pan. Chill overnight.

Makes a beautiful 3 layer Jello salad - everyone will ask you for the recipe!
