Canned Fruit Recipe

  • fruit
  • 3/4 - 1 cup sugar (depending on tartness of fruit)
  • 1 teaspoon fruit fresh (if fruit would turn brown without it)
  • hot water
Fill quart jars with fruit. Mix sugar and fruit fresh, if desired, with 1 cup HOT water. Pour sugar water into jar. Repeat for each jar. Finish filling jars with hot water to 1/2" from the top. Put lids on jars and process in water bath for 8-15 minutes, depending on how soft you like your fruit.
