6 pork chops
3/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon whiskey (optional)
Whisk soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic and whiskey, if desired, together. Pour over chops in a shallow baking dish and marinade for at least 2 hours.
Grill over a medium-high grill for about 4 minutes on each side.

"Great recipe. The longer you marinate the better - I did it overnight and they were full of flavor. I think fresh ginger would be the only thing I would change instead of the ground ginger next time."
