Keema Korma Curry Recipe

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground lamb
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground chili pepper
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup water
Melt butter in skillet. Sauté onions until browned. Add ground lamb, salt, turmeric, coriander and chili peppers. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until browned. Mix in yogurt. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Add peas and water, cook additional 15 minutes.
