Chicken Divan 57 Recipe

  • 6 cups shredded, cooked chicken
  • 2 packages frozen chopped broccoli (10 oz pkg)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup dry White Wine
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350. Remove broccoli from pkg and microwave for 2 minutes until thawed. Drain and put in a casserole dish. Add chicken. In a medium bowl, combine the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, cheese, lemon juice, curry powder, salt, pepper, and wine. Whisk together to make a sauce. Pour over broccoli and chicken and mix well. Spray another casserole dish with cooking spray and pour chicken mixture into it. Spread evenly in dish. Combine Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and butter and sprinkle over the top. Bake for 30-45 minutes.

Can also top with cheddar or Gruyere cheese.
