Honey Roast Lamb Recipe

  • 1 leg of lamb (2 kilograms 4 lbs )
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons dried marjoram or 1 tablespoon fresh
Rub salt and pepper into the lamb. Put lamb ona rack in a baking dish and roast in a mod slow oven for 1 3/4 hours or until tender, basting ever now and then with juices. Mix together honey, lemon and majoram and when there is 20 mins left in the cooking time brush over the lamb. Baste it every 5 minutes or so until cooked.
