Macaroni Pasta

Macaroni is used in reference to any narrow short tubular pasta. The tubes may be straight or curved in shape and vary slightly in width. The most commonly known is elbow macaroni. Macaroni can be used as a side dish or as an ingredient in another dish. If not available, substitute conchiglie, gemelli, penne, rigatoni, or route.
