"I did not care for these wings, but I think it was how they were made. Having them cook in a slow cooker for 6 hours while they sat in the sauce all that time made them soak up too much of it. They turned a real dark color and just didn't taste great. I think it would be better to marinate them in the sauce for a few hours or overnight; and then remove them from the marinade and bake them in the oven. I think this would have produced better results. I know I won't make them again, especially in the crock pot."
