Hi mejane. There are many variables that will determine how long the salad will last in the refrigerator. A typical rule of thumb is 2-4 days, but results may vary.

Hi Scoby, you should be able to find frozen egg noodles in your local grocery store. They are not as thin as the dried type and will look quite a bit thicker. Do a web search on frozen egg noodles and you should be able to see many products to give you and idea of what to look for in the store. Best of luck with the recipe and thanks for visiting RecipeTips.com and taking the time to reach out with your question.
Re:Herring and Potato recipe anyone?

Hi TomA. I’m afraid RecipeTips.com is not an expert at Sill and Potatis but this might help. Try doing a web search on Sill and Potatis and you will most likely come up with Scandinavian cooking sites. If you are using a browser like Chrome, you can right click on the displayed web page and you should have a menu option to “Translate to English” which should show the ingredients and directions in English. Sorry we couldn’t be more of a direct help, but I hope this gives you some options. Thank you for reaching out and all the best in your herring and potatoes search!

Re:making cornbeef brisket with the beer

I would cook the recipe for the same amount of time regardless of adding any of the vegetables. I would also keep an eye on it to make sure enough moisture remains since the vegetables are absent. Possibly add some water or additional beer if the moisture level gets too low. You don't want to dry out the corned beef brisket. I would error on the side of too much liquid rather than not enough. Best of luck with the recipe change.
