I just bought some strawberries and we usually eat them right out of the carton. I thought it would be nice to try something new. What is your favorite thing to do with fresh strawberries?

You can also try desserts with some yoghurt and strawberries and also add some fresh cream in it to make a new dish. http://www.selogerneuf.com/

Dip them in chocolate and set them on a parchment or waxed-paper covered baking sheet. Put in fridge till set. Also, if you have a dehydrator (you can find them really cheap at Walmart and sometimes thrift stores have them)you can dry slices of them and eat them for a snack or in cereal. They last a long time this way. Strawberry pie is easy or put them on cheesecake. You can freeze them and keep in a plastic bag in the freezer and then use them in smoothies. Just throw the frozen berries in a blender with a little milk or juice and some sweetener if needed (agave syrup is good). You could also add yogurt or a banana.

Growing up, during berry season (summer), my mother would put fresh strawberries in a pot on the stove with a bit of water and sugar and stew it. Makes a great jam and ice cream topper!

for my breakfast at work I like to bring Greek yogurt, slice fresh strawberries to cover the top and then add granola on the top. Very yummy and healthy!

For breakfast I fill a small tupperware container with yogurt, top with fresh sliced strawberries and sprinkle generously with granola...by the time I get to work the granola and strawberries seep into the yogurt, and it tastes so YUMMY!

Because I love baking, I usually have it on my strawberry cake recipe. Similar to an all-in-one strawberry shortcake, its easy, delicious cake and really perfect for any occasion.

I have made a slush similar to the Peachy Summer Slush recipe (http://www.recipetips.com/recipe-cards/u--4017/peachy-summer-slush.asp) but with strawberries instead of the peaches. And it will keep in the freezer for some time unless you drink it too quickly!

I like to just make a quick sauce from them. Cut the strawberries into quarters and slightly mash them. Sprinkle them with sugar and let them sit at room temperature for about an hour. After the strawberries sit, stir and mash them until they are the way you like them. You can mash them a lot or you can leave them in larger chunks. Serve it over vanilla ice cream or angel food cake and top it with cool whip.

I like to make a fruit dip to have with strawberries. Just mix an 8 oz block of cream cheese with a jar of marshmallow cream. Very easy and very good!
