Turkey Tetrazzini with Mushrooms Recipe

The creamy white sauce with the mushrooms, onion and garlic is delicious. Leftover turkey is perfect for this dish. You can use any pasta you prefer.

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups sharp cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups turkey, cooked, diced
  • 1 cup thin spaghetti, cooked

Saute onion and garlic in butter; add mushrooms.

Add flour, stir until smooth.

Add milk and let thicken.

Add half of the cheese to remaining ingredients and mix with sauce.

Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.

"I made this Tetrazzini after Thanksgiving and it was kind of dry so when I made it yesterday I added a can of cream of mushroom soup. That helped a lot."
