Apple Butter Pork Loin Recipe

  • 2 1/2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • seasoning salt to taste
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
In a baking dish, season pork with seasoning salt and pour apple juice over pork. Cover baking dish with lid or foil. Bake 1 hour in oven. While pork is roasting, mix apple butter, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and cloves. After the hour, remove pork loin and spread apple mixture over the top. Cover and cook for another 60-75 minutes or until tender with fork.


Use crock pot. Cut pork in half. Puncture both sides of pork with a fork. Season with seasoning salt and put in crock pot. Add apple juice. Cook on low 3 hours then add apple butter mixture (apple butter,brown sugar, cinnamon, clove combined) to crock pot. Cover and cook an additional 3 hours.
