Door Slammer Chicken Recipe

  • 1 12-inch Dutch Oven
  • 12 coals on bottom
  • 16 coals on top
  • 8 chicken breasts, skinned and browned inch the dutch oven
  • Mix together
  • 2 bottles Russian dressing (8 ounce bottles)
  • 1 jar apricot jam (12 ounce jar)
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 package instant onion soup mix
Pour over chicken and bake in dutch oven for 1 1/2 hours. Replenish the coals from time to time to maintain the 350° temperature required.
