1 package Premio Bratwurst, cut into 1 inch pieces and cooked 6 minutes
1/2 cup onion - diced
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon lime pepper
1 can petite diced tomatoes with green chilies
3/4 cup cooked broccoli
1/4 cup red bell pepper - diced
1/4 cup cut green beans - cooked
1 cup self rising flour
2 tablespoons shortening
1 cup cooked Premio bratwurst slices
1/2 cup 2% milk
Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
In large skillet heat canola oil.
Cook onion until tender, remove from heat.
Stir in flour and lime pepper.
Cook over low heat until mixture is bubbly.
Remove from heat and add tomatoes.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Stir in bratwurst, broccoli, red bell pepper and green beans.
Heat to boiling.
Pour into ungreased baking pan 8x8x2.
Place in oven.
Prepare bratwurst dough.
Measure dry ingredients into bowl.
Cut in shortening until mixture looks like meal.
Stir in bratwurst and milk.
Drop dough over hot bratwurst and vegetable mixture.
Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
