Pinto Beans (Served over Mexican Rice) Recipe

  • 1 bag of pinto beans
4 hrs
  • Night before serving place the beans into a pan of water and let soak overnight.
  • Check the water in the morning to be sure that you have it filled about 6 inches above the beans.
  • Approximately 4 hours before serving put over a low heat.
  • 2 hours after cooking take a cup of beans out and blend them and pour back into your pan. Cook for 2 more hours and they will be ready.
