CHERRY MASH CANDY 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 can evaporated milk (small can)
  • 12 MARSHMALLOWS (LARGE)
  • 1/2 cup Margarine
  • DASH SALT
  • 1 to 12 ounce CHERRY CHIPS (9 ounce )
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 to 12 ounce BAG CHOCOLATE CHIPS (9 ounce )
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 package SALTED PEANUTS (crushed) (1 lb BAG)
Directions
Bring to a Boil the Sugar, Evaporated Milk, Marshmallows, Margarine and Salt.

Boil 5 Minutes, Stirring Constantly. Remove from fire.

Add:

Cherry Chips, Vanilla. Spread into a 9X13 Buttered Dish. Chill.

Melt: Chocolate Chips and Peanut Butter.

Add: Salted Peanuts (crushed).

Spread on top of Chilled Mixture, and Chill.

Cut into Small Squares when Set.

A nice candy for the Holidays!

Sometimes, the Cherry Chips are only available during the Winter and Holiday Season. I buy extra and put in Freezer, because we make these quite often.
