Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Crispy and chewy cookies. These cookies have just the right amount of chocolate chips in them, too. These freeze well, if you have any leftover.

1 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup chocolate chips
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.
Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Beat well.
In a separate bowl, blend the flour, baking soda and salt; then add this dry mixture to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Add the oatmeal and chocolate chips. Mix well.
Bake at 325° F. for 10-12 minutes.
Cool the cookies on wire racks.
