Tomato Casserole 5 Recipe

  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 ounces cans diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
Chop pepper, onions, and celery into large chunks. Sauté in butter. Add tomatoes, sugar, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch and vinegar; stir into tomato mixture. Pour into a casserole dish and bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
