Scalloped Potatoes 38 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 or 9 potatoes, washed and unpeeled
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
Directions
Boil potatoes with skin on until tender. Cool completely. Remove skin and grate as for hash browns. Heat butter with half and half until butter melts. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix in potatoes and 3/4 of the cheese. Pour in a large casserole dish. Bake for 1 hour. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cook for 15 more min.
