Crabmeat Gau Gee Recipe

  • 1 package imitation crabmeat, frozen (8-9 sticks)
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 ounce)
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 package gau gee wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten
Thaw out crabmeat, squeeze or blot out any excess water. Cut each stick into five pieces and shred. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, and worcestershire sauce together. Next mix in shredded crabmeat and green onions to cream cheese mixture. Place a teaspoon size of the crabmeat mixture in the center of the gau gee wrapper, fold so edges meet. Brush edges of gau gee wrapper with beaten egg and seal shut. Deep fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. May be eaten hot or cold. All leftovers should be refrigerated.
