Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno's Recipe

  • 12 jalapenos
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 ounce pkg.)
  • 1 or 2 lb of bacon
  • 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced (or use shrimp)
Slice jalapenos in half the long way. Remove seeds (wear gloves). Spoon cream cheese in one sliced jalapeno. Add your choice of chicken or shrimp. Wrap one slice of bacon around the pepper, secure with toothpicks. Repeat til all jalapenos are filled and wrapped. Place on grill; cook til bacon is crispy on all sides. Take out toothpicks and eat ... they will be hot so eat with caution (oozing cream cheese). Are time-consuming to put together but can be made ahead of time. Makes 24.
