Chicken Fried Steak 11 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds cubed or round steak
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup fine cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • salt and pepper
Directions
Pound meat thoroughly.

Mix together eggs and milk.

Dip serving size pieces of meat into egg mixture, then in cracker crumbs. Handle carefully so coating stays on.

In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown on both sides. Season to taste.

Cover tightly and cook over very low heat for 45-60 minutes.
