White Sauce for Creamed Meat & Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • dash of pepper
Directions
Cook butter and flour, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Stir in salt and pepper, add milk. Continue to stir until sauce is thickened. Add more or less milk according to how thick you like your white sauce.

NOTE: Really good for new potatoes and peas.
