Lasagna Without the Fuss Recipe

  • 1 box rotini pasta
  • 2 pounds mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar favorite pasta sauce
Bring 8 cups of water to a boil and add the rotini pasta. Cook the pasta until tender. Drain and rinse pasta. Preheat oven to 350°.

Pour half of the pasta into a deep casserole dish, about 11" X 9" X 4". Next pour half of the sauce on top of the pasta. Then sprinkle half of the cheese on top of the sauce. Repeat previous steps except the cheese, save that for later.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then sprinkle remaining cheese. To finish it off bake for another 15 minutes.

Meat Sauce Variation: 2 lbs. of cooked ground beef. Mix with pasta sauce; however you will need 1 more jar of pasta sauce.

Makes about 6 servings
