Mostaccioli Mosta Recipe

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 can tomatoes (16 ounce can)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (16 ounce can)
  • 1 cup ripe black olives, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 pound mostaccioli
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion. Drain fat. Add tomatoes, sauce, olives, Parmesan, salt, oregano, and red pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes. Prepare mostaccioli according to package directions. Drain. Toss in butter. Arrange in 3 quart dish. Pour meat sauce over top and sprinkle with mozzarella. Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes.
