Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cups onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil or 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • Salt & pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 4 cups tomatoes, chopped or sauce
Directions
Heat oil in a large pot. Add onions & garlic. Cook, stirring until soft. Add tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt & pepper (to taste). Add meatballs to mixture & simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
